DEBY is an emotional check-in app. This policy describes what it does with your information. The short version: it keeps everything on your phone.
Nothing is collected. DEBY has no servers, no account system, and no network code. Your check-ins, your daily phrase history, and your settings are written to your device's local storage and stay there.
This data is removed when you delete the app. You can delete an individual check-in from the History screen at any time.
If you turn on the daily reminder, DEBY schedules a local notification on your device at the time you choose. Nothing about that reminder is sent off the device. You can turn it off inside DEBY or in iOS Settings at any time.
DEBY reads the device's tilt sensor while the app is open, only to move the on-screen artwork. That reading is never stored and never leaves the device. It stops as soon as the app goes to the background, and it is not used at all when Reduce Motion is enabled.
DEBY does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
DEBY is a personal journaling tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address and the date at the top will change.
